Saban said he’d love to become part of the match against Georgia but NCAA rules prohibit in-game communicating with anybody on the team while he’s in quarantine and that he can’t travel to the scene while in quarantine, either.
However, if Saban has three negative evaluations, including the next two at 24 hours, he could be cleared to return to athletic activities before Saturday’s match in Tuscaloosa.
“I’d hate not to be in the game Saturday if that is exactly what this ends up to be,” Saban said.
However, Saban said, he wants there was a means to get a mentor in quarantine to have the ability to take part, including that it”does not look quite right” he would not have the ability to speak with his players or staff during a match in a remote location like his property.
