BERLIN — The yearly Berlin International Film Festival has been set off this season on account of this coronavirus pandemic and divide into two parts afterward in 2021, organizers said Friday.
The”Berlinale” was scheduled for February from the German funding but can’t proceed because of the probability that coronavirus limitations on big parties will last, organizers said.
To provide the movie industry a place to advertise their goods in the first quarter, though, a virtual Berlinale will be held online in March. Subsequently, in June, organizers have been now scheduling a summer event with numerous movie screenings to the general public in theatres along with the open air.
“The branch makes it feasible to keep both supporting columns: movie festival and market,” organizers said.
