Emmy Series will Comprise $2.8M donation to fight child hunger

LOS ANGELES — Each Emmy Award is given out Sunday will include something extra — a $100,000 contribution to fight child hunger.

The Television Academy announced Friday that every streaming and network agency competing to the telecast has vowed the contribution for every single Emmy they triumph.

Together with 23 Emmys being passed out along with the academy committing $500,000, which will mean a contribution of $2.8 million to No Kid Hungry, a team working to ease child hunger caused by the coronavirus catastrophe.

The 72nd Emmy Awards atmosphere Sunday at 5 pm on ABC.

Jimmy Kimmel is currently hosting in Staples Center in Los Angeles and champions can take their awards from distant places, but little past that was disclosed about what’s going to occur during the series which has been placed on beneath specific pandemic conditions.

The HBO restricted series”Watchmen” is the best nominee.
