Indianapolis Colts’ retests on four Individuals Return negative for COVID-19

The Indianapolis Colts reopened their practice facility Friday following four people’ retests for COVID-19 verified they had been negative, the group announced.

The group had closed its center Friday morning following the first positive evaluations. They included one participant and three team members, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“After consultation with all the NFL and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Allen Sills, the group will open the clinic facility this day below the league’s intensive routine and will last preparation for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati,” the group said in a statement.

Coach Frank Reich talked with reporters following the center reopened and the group had practiced. He said he discovered the first positive test at about 5 a.m. General director Chris Ballard hauled together with all the NFL, while Reich advised coordinators to get ready for a match Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or the subsequent week.

Reich said he considers the four individuals whose next test came back negative will probably return into the building Saturday.

“You are never foolproof here. “However, I think that our guys have done such a fantastic job. We are not ideal, but I believe we have been diligent.”
