Actress Kelly Preston has expired after a two-year struggle with breast cancer, based on an Instagram article from her husband, John Travolta.
“She fought a brave fight with all the support and love of numerous,” the actor wrote. “My loved ones and I shall forever be thankful to her physicians and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all of the health care facilities which have helped, in addition to her many friends and loved ones who’ve been by her side.”
A household representative told Folks that Preston was undergoing treatment for quite a while but decided to maintain her illness confidential. “She was a bright, delightful, and loving soul who cared deeply about others who brought life to what she touched. Her family asks to your comprehension of the need for privacy at this moment,” the rep told the magazine.
She acted in several TV shows but climbed to fame following her part at the 1988 Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito humor, Twins. She met her husband soon later on the record of this coming-of-age humor The Pros. Both got married in 1991.
She moved on to act in films like Jerry Maguire and Jack Frost, also made an appearance at the Travolta sci-fi film Battlefield Earth. Preston also acted along with her husband at the 2018 biopic Gotti, enjoying with the late mobster’s wife, Victoria.
Travolta and Preston had three kids together. Their son Jett died at age 16 in January 2009 following a seizure.
