Police Arrest 2 suspects over String of far-right Strikes

BERLIN — German prosecutors state police in Berlin detained two men Wednesday suspected of participation in a collection of far-right strikes.

Police are exploring fire-bombings and heaps of different strikes between 2013 and 2019 which were directed at anti-fascist politicians and groups at Berlin’s southern area of Neukoelln.

“At last! The neo-Nazis Sebastian T. and Tilo P. have been detained as suspects in the right-wing firebombing show in Neukoelln,” Left party lawmaker Martina Renner stated on Twitter.

Their supporters had accused authorities and prosecutors of failing to properly investigate the situation. Before this season, the investigation has been transferred into another prosecutors’ office amid worries over prejudice.
