Resources: NFL shuts down New England Patriots’ Centre for 3rd time in 10 times

The Patriots are analyzing Sunday morning and awaiting additional direction from the NFL, but the standing of Monday night’s match against the Denver Broncos is currently in question.

The Patriots’ game vs. the Broncos was transferred from Sunday to Monday at 5 pm ET within an ESPN doubleheader, the NFL announced Thursday.

The Patriots reopened their center Saturday after having worked almost Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. A source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler there were not any new positive evaluations from Friday’s testing, which indicated a third consecutive day which was the situation.

Patriots quarterback Cam Newton and cornerback Stephon Gilmore did not practice Saturday. Newton, Gilmore, and practice-squad defensive tackle Bill Murray stay on the group’s reserve/COVID-19 record.
