Visa, Mastercard Will Not allow charges for Solutions on Pornhub

They responded following an investigation by ruling columnist Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times that alleged that the website depicts revenge porn and movie taken without the approval of participants.

Mastercard stated it’s using its cards on Pornhub following its investigation confirmed violations of criteria forbidding unlawful behavior on the website. Mastercard stated it also exploring different sites for possible prohibited content.

Visa said that it was using its cards Pornhub Thursday although its investigation was faulty.

Pornhubin a statement, called the action”exceptionally unsatisfactory.” Two days before, the business announced measures to safeguard against pictures of misuse, nonconsensual action, and mobile models on the website, such as a ban on unverified users uploading substance.

“This information is devastating for its thousands and thousands of versions who rely upon our system because of their livelihoods,” Pornhub explained.

The business said it had over 42 billion visits to its site this past year.
